GENERAL GIFTS AND CASH CONTRIBUTIONS
The Women's Center operates our programs and services with a mix of funding from government and private sources. Your gift to the General Fund will subsidize basic operational expenses for the Women's Center, such as insurance, rent, salaries, taxes, depreciation, and other costs that are not covered under the highly restrictive state and federal grants we receive. The General Fund is “unrestricted” funding for the Women's Center, which is critical not only to offset the center's basic costs to operate, but also to ensure our long-term financial health and stability. Please support the Women's Center through a donation to the General Fund today.

IN-KIND DONATIONS

Please contact Bargains Galore at (530) 541-0444 or drop by at 972 Tallac Ave # B, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. When you drop off donations, please tell staff your items are to benefit the Women's Center. We receive credit from your donation and we provide clients with vouchers for items they need.

BUILDING FUND
We need your support to ensure that the Women’s Center has a permanent place in our community. That's why the Women's Center is seeking funds in order to pay off our building, which is absolutely critical for the long-term financial health and stability of the center. Without the financial burden of paying for the office building, we can focus on what is really important - the people who reach out to us for help. Please, help us by giving directly to the Building Fund, pledging multi-year gifts, donating stock, or through estate planning.
See our Building Fund brochure for more information.

PLANNED GIFTS
Through donations made today and through gifts planned for the future, the Women's Center’s programs and services are made possible by the support of committed community members. Planned gifts are critical to the continued success of the agency, as they provide funds for our long-term projects and goals.

Family obligations and the need to provide for retirement, coupled with the high cost of living, can make it difficult for many people to make a charitable gift. But there is a way to have the satisfaction of making a meaningful, lifetime gift without making sacrifices today. In fact, planning ahead to give in the future can have tax advantages right now. See our Planned Giving brochure for more information. Please contact Sarah at (530) 542-7633 or via email at ssanchez@sltwc.org with your planned giving questions.

ANNUAL GIVING / MEMBERSHIP
Funds from Annual Giving/Membership donations help provide intervention and treatment services, such as counseling or support groups for survivors. These funds also help meet clients’ basic needs in life — food, shelter and clothing, as well as help purchase items for the emergency shelter, such as cleaning supplies and food.

Annual Giving/Membership funds are critical to the agency’s ability to assist women and children who come through our doors with their specific, individual needs. Your donation will help provide clients with some of life’s necessities that most of us take for granted — things like a new backpack stocked with school supplies, baby formula, diapers, or winter boots and jackets.

Join us today in the effort to end violence in our community with your tax-deductible Annual Giving/Membership contribution of $25.00 or more.
